Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP)


The management approved document that defines the resources, actions, tasks and data required to manage the technology recovery effort.

A Disaster Recovery Plan is a set of procedures and guidelines that an organization follows in the event of a major disruption, such as a natural disaster, cyber attack, or other catastrophic event. The plan outlines the steps to be taken to restore operations and recover data in the event of a disaster.
